AllStarsWomen's NFT Charity Event: Empowering the Next Generation
The Event: A Unique Blend of Creativity and Charity
JESSICA Magazine is partnering with AllStarsWomen to support their parent and child NFT charity event, which will take place next month. This year's theme, "From Pixels to Purpose: A Journey of Creation, Commerce, and Charity," offers parents and children a unique opportunity to explore the world of digital art and NFTs while contributing to a noble cause.
Last year's event raised an impressive HKD30,000 for the Principal Chan Free Tutorial, and this year, the organizers aim to double that amount, making an even greater impact on the lives of underprivileged youth.
Highlights of the Event
Digital Art Creation: Under the expert guidance of celebrated comic artist Aaron Lanorias, children will dive into the fundamentals of digital comic art. This hands-on experience will allow young artists to transform their creative visions into tangible digital artworks. Highlights of the Event
NFT Sales for Charity: Each child's creation will be minted as an NFT and auctioned, with proceeds supporting educational initiatives for underprivileged youth. This process not only teaches the value of creativity but also highlights its potential to bring about positive change in the community.
Community Engagement: The event is designed to be a shared experience for parents and children. They will bond through creative activities, learn together, and contribute to a charitable cause, fostering a sense of community and philanthropy.
Voices from the Community
Co-Founder Akina Ho emphasizes the transformative potential of the event: "The future is now. This event gives the next generation a chance to experience every stage, from creativity to minting and selling their work. We've expanded the format so each young artist can host a private viewing and share their inspiration. This empowers them to see the value of their creativity and its impact on the world for those who are less privileged."
