Nicol David

Datuk Nicol Ann David is a legendary Malaysian squash player, regarded as one of the sport’s greatest athletes. She held the world number one ranking for 108 consecutive months (2006–2015) and won eight World Open titles and five British Open titles. A trailblazer, she was the first to win the World Junior Championship twice and maintained a top 10 ranking for 151 months, a record unmatched in men’s or women’s squash. Since turning professional in 2000, she has claimed nine Asian Squash Championships. Beyond her achievements, Nicol co-founded the Nicol David Organisation to empower communities through sport, education and well-being.
